What we certify
Oaths.co.za™ currently certifies true copies of four documents:

The document you upload must be genuine and unaltered, and must meet the verification requirements shown during upload.
What we do not do
We certify true copies of original documents only. We do not administer affidavits, sworn statements, affirmations or solemn declarations. Under Regulation 3(1) of Government Notice R1258 of 1972, these require the deponent to sign in the physical presence of a Commissioner of Oaths, so they cannot be done online.
How it works

Set up once. Register, complete your profile, subscribe and verify your identity with a quick, secure liveness check.

Upload your document. Take a clear photo of your Smart ID, driver’s licence, passport or proof of address.

Receive your certified copy. A duly appointed Commissioner of Oaths reviews and certifies it. We aim to certify within 45 minutes, depending on volumes. Documents uploaded after hours are queued for the next Commissioner session.
Your certified copy is stored in OathsVault™ and appears on your Dashboard marked Signed, ready to download.
How institutions check it
Every certified copy carries a unique QR code. Scanning it opens a secure OathsVault™ page showing the issuing Commissioner, the date and the live verification status. Acceptance remains up to each receiving institution.

All prices include VAT. Your subscription covers the platform: secure submission, storage in OathsVault™, QR verification and audit records. The certification itself is free by law.
